Great atmosphere and the Saturday night house band livens it up just right! Wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The food is good but my 3 stars is for the ingredients not being authentic and the dishes, while good and fresh for sure, lack the true Mexican flavor and technique. Always a great place for decent food and fun. I highly recommend it.

Classic texmex resto with a thick latinos ambiance. They always have live band playing latin songs and people dance salsa in this place. But we go for the food. The quesadillas and all the other mexican food here never fails. Good portion, delicious and authentic. We love the tortilla soup too!

Amigos is a vibrant Mexican restaurant in Jakarta despite being a bit far from Kuningan is well worth the journey for its authentic cuisine. The restaurant shares a compound with several other eateries and a grocery store, creating a lively atmosphere. The ambience is a key feature, filled with colorful artwork that evokes the feeling of a Mexican fiesta. While a quiet lunch visit might not showcase the full energy of the place, it's clear that it transforms into a bustling hub of music and laughter in the evenings, with live music on weekends. Although the age of the establishment is visible in its seating and restrooms, this doesn't detract from its flamboyant charm. The food was a highlight- Carne nachos, Enchiladas, and Quesadillas were all fresh, delicious, and well-proportioned. The guacamole was a standout, so much so that you requested an extra serving. The service was also excellent. The staff was attentive and quick, and the serving time was perfect. The entire experience was great, and you would gladly revisit if it were closer to your location

Came here with family. The staff were polite, helpful, and they communicate well in English. The food was very delicious. Everything we ordered was super.

Regularly came here, usually during weekends; so we know the food will not disappoint! But last time I came, there were live music + salsa dances happening and the music was too loud; we got placed right beside the stage… I can barely hear myself. We asked to move table, the staff was helpful; however it was still too loud, we still need to shout a little to talk to each other. Please adjust your live music volume next time, some people come here to eat not dance!

A Mexican restaurant that fulfills my desire for authentic Mexican cuisine. Surprisingly, their grilled beef enchiladas were exceptionally well-seasoned, and the meat was tender. The Mexican rice was actually (according to my taste buds) compared to Mexican rice at the Mexican restaurant in the United States. However, please be advised that complimentary chips and salsa are not provided; you will need to purchase them separately, although their queso was delectable.
